Important, Please read before you order.
Left or Right Side?
The BITBOX uses an Easy Glide Mount to attach itself to your drill.
This mount attaches to the drill where the belt hanger mount is. This belt hanger mount is usually at the bottom of the drill, near the battery. Most drills have belt hanger mounts on both the left and right sides for left and right-handed users, but manufacturers only give you one belt hanger bracket. If your drill has this belt hanger mount, you will want to use the unused mount on the opposite side of your drill to attach your BITBOX.
If you do not use your belt hangers, you can attach the BITBOX on either side of your drill. Choose the side that feels most comfortable for you. The general rule is: if you use your drill in your right hand, get a right kit; if you use it in your left hand, get a left kit.
If you are using a belt hanger, then you will want to get a BITBOX kit on the opposite side of your drill’s belt hanger.
If you are ordering for someone else, ask them which hand they use their drill in or, more importantly, if they hang their drill on their belt, which side they hang their drill on. Whichever side they hang their drill on is the kit you want. If they hang their drill on the left, get a left kit, and if they hang their drill on the right, get a right kit.
We can not offer a free exchange for a different side mount after you purchase your BITBOX, so please make sure you know which side you want before you order. If you are not sure, you can always get one kit and get an additional single mount for the other side so you are covered no matter which side you decide to use.
